When the Chips are Down
An up-side-down horseshoe like the one in this drawing is said to be a sign of bad luck and this poker hand is about as bad as it gets. To compliment the busted royal flush, I drew a broken frame. I tried to take realism to an extreme and even drew the title card. The person that bought this original drawing got a kick out of the "Not For Sale" on the price tag.
"When the Chips are Down" will be available as a limited edition print.
By submitting your email address here, you can save over 20% on this image when it is published as a limited edition print. When I receive enough names, you will be contacted with the special pre-publication price and the date the print will be available. This helps me estimate the popularity of the print and it helps you save some money! This is a limited time offer. The beginning issue price of the print will be 20% higher and increase as the print begins to sell out. My last print that sold out had an ending price that was three times higher than its pre-publication price. I never tell anyone to buy limited edition prints as an investment, but if you like something, its always nice to buy it at the lowest price possible.
